Chinmaya Kalaarangam is a platform to showcase Bala Vihar children's talents in the field of Indian classical arts. So many of our children have been learning these arts, and show incredible interest. This is an opportunity for them to perform on stage and grow their skills. As Chinmaya community, we should encourage these children, and hope that this performance opportunity will inspire them to continue to learn and perform.
Feel free to register for more than one performance!
1. You should be a current Bala Vihar Students in NJ, PA or NY area
2. You should be learning Indian classical music or dance currently
3. There is a registration fee of $15 per entry.

A wonder in the world of classical dance, Nritya Dhaara is a Kathak dance performance by three generations of dancers from one family! It has proved to be an inspiration and motivation to dance practitioners, dance lovers and viewers across generations and cultures. Nritya Dhaara is presented by world renowned Kathak maestro and Guru Pandita Maneesha Sathe from Pune, India along with her daughter Shambhavi Dandekar, daughter-in-law Tejaswini Sathe and granddaughter Sarveshwari Sathe.
Program will start with a curtain raiser presentation by Pallavi Degwekar Shaikh and troupe.

Hindustani Classical Vocal concert by Kumar Mardur. Vocalist Kumar Mardur is from Dharwad in Northern Karnataka known for its Hindustani music. Trained by his father Pt. Somanath Mardur and then by the famous Pt. Feroz Dastur. Pandit Kumar, a recipient of Sangeet Natak Academy award, is a tutor (GURU) at the prestigious ITC Sangeet Research Academy in Kolkata, teaching and growing in an environment which is just as rich as his birthplace. He has received many awards, has performed very widely India and abroad.
